Our company designed and built a set of steel entrance gates (first image below). The owner wanted to keep people from parking on their property. Since the opening was over 30 feet, we constructed the gates with a steel frame and added a cedar facade to warm them up a bit. Each half of the gate also hinges in the middle, so the owner can open and close them even when there are cars parked in the driveway. They are “stand alone” and fully adjustable. The “X” pattern was designed to resemble a Michigan wine rack. We have designed and built two other sets of stand alone gates like these, but with different patterns, and have plans for more.
